When is the courtesy car free and when do you pay for it?
The courtesy car is included if you leave us the car for a detailing job of 120 € or more, for a workshop job of 300 € or more or for the pre-test + ITV package of 150 €. If the job stays under those figures, it is charged: 30 € a day. Both ways it comes with pick-up and delivery, and it is booked when you arrange the appointment. Prices are without VAT and have been published since 1 October 2026.
🚗 When is the courtesy car free?
When the job you leave us reaches one of these three figures: 120 € of detailing, 300 € of workshop work or the 150 € of the pre-test + ITV package.
Nothing gets haggled over each time. The threshold is the same for everybody and you see it on the quote, before you hand over the keys. If the clean stays at 95 €, the courtesy car is charged. If it goes up to 120 €, it is in. That is all the small print there is.

💰 How much does the courtesy car cost if I stay under the minimum?
30 € a day, and we tell you before you leave the car in Vilobí del Penedès, with the quote in front of you.
A one-off hand wash, a 40 € ozone treatment or polishing one 20 € headlight stay short. There the courtesy car is charged on top. And if you would rather wait in the yard or come back for the car in the afternoon, that works too: nobody makes you take it.
The three figures in gold are the thresholds. The green 0 € is what you pay for the courtesy car once you reach any of them.
🧼 Which jobs reach the 120 € detailing threshold?
- 🧼 Full clean: 180 €. It clears the threshold with room to spare.
- 🪑 Full upholstery: 120 €, or 40 € per seat.
- 💡 Headlight polishing: 20 € per headlight, 40 € for both.
- 🧽 Decontamination: 80 €. Ozone: 40 €.
- ✨ Machine polish: 120 € single stage, 300 € multi-stage.
- 🛡️ Ceramic coating: 300 €, and 600 € for the premium one.
- 📦 And there are fixed packages of 120, 180 or 300 €, which are the shortest route past the threshold.
With the 180 € full clean, with the 120 € full upholstery or with any of the packages, the courtesy car is already in. The whole price list sits on services and the prices are without VAT.
One single upholstery seat, 40 €, stays short; all four seats, 120 €, just make it.
📍 What if I take the car to the ITV test?
The station is not far from anyone around here. The Alt Penedès one is code B09 run by Applus+, on the Sant Pere Molanta industrial estate in Olèrdola, 4,1 km from the centre of Vilafranca and 11,1 km from our workshop. The Baix Penedès one is the T07 run by Itevelesa, in Bellvei, 2,2 km from the centre of El Vendrell.
What the ITV costs you is not the kilometres: it is the appointment, the queue and having to go back another day if something does not pass. With the 150 € pre-test plus ITV package we check it first, we take it to Olèrdola ourselves and the courtesy car is inside the price. The pre-test exists for exactly that: so there is no second visit.
The ITV on its own is 100 €, a keeper change 120 € and the full sale paperwork 250 €. Those last two are done online and the car does not stay here for a single day: we cover how long a keeper change takes in another post.
🚚 Is there pick-up and delivery?
Yes, with the job included and with the 30 € a day as well: we collect the car and we bring it back.
From Camí de Bellver 83 it is 8,1 km to Vilafranca del Penedès. Sant Martí Sarroca is 4,2 km away, les Cabanyes 4,5 and la Granada 7,4. Sant Pere Molanta sits at 11,1 km and Santa Margarida i els Monjos at 12,5. Sant Sadurní d'Anoia is 18,8 km away and el Vendrell 29,6. If you live further out, say so when you book and we will work it out.
🗓️ Is there always a courtesy car free?
The courtesy car is booked together with the appointment: you ring 636 92 40 68 and we hold it for that day. We do not promise a particular model, and if the day you want is taken we say so when we give you the time.
We open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday. Delivery and collection are arranged inside that window. If another time suits you better, say so and we will look at it.
🔧 Does bodywork and paint count too?
Bodywork and paint are subcontracted to Planxisteria Sivill, of Sant Martí Sarroca, 4,2 km from here. We assess the damage, we write the quote, we manage it and we answer for it. You still get the courtesy car if the job reaches 300 €.
We say it plainly because somebody will ask: the one who paints is Planxisteria Sivill, and the one who answers for the work is us.
Diagnostics are run on 2 different machines and we compare what each one says. Two readings that agree make a diagnosis; one on its own makes an opinion.
❌ What is not covered by the courtesy car?
- ❌ Not a rental: we do not rent cars to whoever walks through the door at Camí de Bellver 83.
- ❌ Not the insurance replacement car either. Your insurer handles that one.
- ✅ It is for detailing and workshop customers, while their car is in Vilobí.
- 🗓️ And it is booked with the appointment. Asking for it the same day at 20:00 is late.
The courtesy car exists so that you do not lose the day while yours is up on the ramp in the yard. That is why it goes with the job and why the threshold sits at 120 €.
